After more than seven years in general practice, Sara Sorenson launched Sorenson Law, LLC to focus on the area of the law she is most passionate about in a streamlined, modern law practice setting. Sara is committed to providing clients with expert advice and guidance on complex property tax issues in an effective and efficient manner.

Sara has experience preparing and filing returns and property tax appeals; negotiating real property valuation with county tax assessors; and representing taxpayers before boards of equalization, hearing officers, in arbitration, and in superior court. She also advises clients on options to simplify their property taxes, including filing parcel consolidations and preferential assessments, including CUVA and FLPA. Sara stays apprised of legislative developments in Georgia and has testified before state Senate and House committees and subcommittees on proposed property tax legislation.
